Biography
Brandon Ladoff is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of DENMARK Capital. He has spent his career investing in what he calls Enduring Innovators or Legacy Builders—companies with the type of enduring innovation, industry-leading talent, strong leadership, and agility that is required to create extraordinary legacies and significantly larger businesses over time.
Before launching DENMARK Capital, Brandon spent over a decade at Polen Capital, where he helped grow the firm and played key leadership roles. He served as an Analyst from 2013 to 2025, was Co-Portfolio Manager of the firm’s flagship $50 billion Focus Growth strategy (2019–2023) and led research efforts as Director of Research (2017–2021). Brandon also helped launch Polen’s second strategy, Global Growth, in 2015, and later incubated a global opportunities strategy for the firm in 2024. As one public company CEO put it, “Brandon’s rigorous approach and independent thinking make him a valuable partner for anyone looking for a differentiated, high-conviction perspective.”
Before his investing career, Brandon practiced corporate law at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York.
His investment philosophy was shaped by his late father, Dennis Mark Ladoff (“DENMARK”), a local entrepreneur near the South Florida Everglades where Brandon grew up. Watching his father build various businesses, from jewelry to diners to printer cartridge manufacturing, taught Brandon the craftsmanship required to create something lasting—and the innovation required to build something truly great.
Brandon believes public market investing is a beautiful pursuit because it allows investors to partner with world-class innovators, entrepreneurs, and operators who are building and improving some of the world’s best products and services—and to invest in certain of them, with full access to the opportunity set, in a way that can allow us to better invest our money at the same time.
Though he struggles to turn off his curiosity about businesses and entrepreneurship, his greatest pride is his family—his amazing wife and three children. As an only child raised in a tough household, he is deeply grateful for the family he has built.
Brandon graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Accounting. He received his JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and received a Certificate in Business Policy from the Wharton School of Business.
